Tree species difference 樹種の違い

The grain and color of the wood are different depending on the tree species.

The cherry tree had the scent of sakura mochi (coumarin).

木目や色味が樹種により全く違います。

桜の木は桜餅（クマリン）の香りがしました。

I thought the cherry tree was the hardest.

Next is the persimmon tree.

The chestnut tree has a soft cork-like part.

桜の木が一番固いように思いました。

次が柿の木。

栗の木はコルク状の部分が柔らかいです。

These trees are environmentally friendly thinned wood.

I cut it out and polished it myself.

これらの木々は環境に配慮された間伐材です。
